It's the Kirby Derby Day Parade!

Cocktails on the curb and strategizing for the best curb site is by 5pm
Parade starts at 5:30pm-ish sharp. Lineup is at 5pm sharp.

Rules and Considerations:
• Parents need to keep children off of the street throughout the parade. Do not assume anyone else is watching over them.
• Be at the Parade Lineup at 5pm
• NEW FOR 2010: Indecent exposure is too shocking for some...please wear undergarments and/or full coverage of yer junk
• Remember, this event is fun AND family friendly, so keep it safe! and clean (relatively).
• The parade route is narrow and has a fairly steep hill and turn, so be sure your parade entry can navigate effectively.
• Any float or vehicle drivers must be sober and must be able to see out the front and both side windows.
• It is beneficial for large floats to have a person walking on each side to help navigate and keep spectators out of the way
• There will be a judging area on the route. Judging criteria has yet to be determined and will not be shared with the participants until the "awards" are given. We can almost guarantee that awards will be decided based on judges moods, whims and levels of sobriety.
• All Soapbox Derby and Drag Race contestants need to participate in the parade in order to qualify and gain support.
