KD 2003: The Sequel
IT was 2003, the second year of Kirby Derby Day, and simply known as "The Sequel." It was a memorable year, but not all for great reasons. KDD03 was the year of the dark monkey. Aside from that, there were great moments and great floats. The Car of Freedom won the parade that year, speaking volumes of where we were as a people.
